In September 2009, Nautilus Rigging Ltd launched their revolutionary safety hooks at Offshore Europe. Lesley Davidson Marketing (LAD Marketing ) had the challenge of delivering this project in a short time frame and on a very limited budget.
Bill Toon, Managing Director and Designer of Nautilus Rigging hooks designed and produced the new range of hooks with a safety handle, removing the 'pinch and trap' hazard of normal hooks and incorporating an ergonomic rotational action which eliminates wrist strain.

He said: "The idea came to me when I was working offshore as a ship's captain, and one of my deck crew got his hand caught between the sling and the hook. He ended up losing the end of a finger, and that got me thinking that there had to be solution that would eliminate this common hazard."
LAD Marketing designed and produced a suite of company literature, the exhibition stand for the launch of Nautilus Rigging Ltd at Offshore Europe as well as a dynamic PR campaign that made sure that Nautilus were well and truly on the map.
