Project Managers for Stewart Milne Group at Ideal Home Show
The Stewart Milne Group, Scotland's largest independent house builder, is supporting their UK expansion plans by sponsoring the Daily Mail Ideal Home Show for the first time. The event, to be held at London's Earls Court from 9 March to 1 April 2007, brings together the very latest in home design, exciting innovation, and must-have products and accessories.
Lesley Davidson Marketing has been appointed to project manage this sponsorship deal for the Stewart Milne Group, encompassing:
- Sponsorship of the Suburban Courtyard House in the show village. Stewart Milne Timber Systems (a division of the group) is to provide the timber frames for all three houses in the village. Designed by Young Architects of the Year 2005, Lynch Architects, the trio of stunning homes will fuse modern innovations with traditional techniques, showcasing the true flexibility and potential of timber systems.
- A series of free industry-led business to business seminars which aim incite lively discussion and debate. Hosted by Alice Beer, journalist and presenter of a variety of programmes from Watchdog and Healthcheck to Hot Property on Channel 5, will cover topics such as "Designing Zero Carbon Homes", "Designing Homes for Tomorrow's Lifestyles", "Designing Homes that will have Value in 2030" and "House Design, Modern Build Methods & Safety".
- A consumer competition run from the Suburban Courtyard House. An "interactive spot" the difference competition, which can be entered online at www.stewartmilne.com/competition, will offer entrants the chance to win a room makeover worth GBP 3,000.
The Stewart Milne Group has steadily expanded its English operations with the establishment of a Timber Systems operation in Witney, near Oxford, and the recent opening of a Stewart Milne Homes division, in North West England. The group employs over 1200 people across the UK and turnover last year hit GBP 283 million. The Group has two Timber Systems operations, one in Aberdeen and one in Witney, plus Housebuilding and Sales operations in Manchester, Central Scotland and Grampian Region and a Design and Construction Division.
