Overview

Lesley Davidson was employed to develop a Marketing and PR Plan that would successfully launch the new 2.5m survival centre at the head quarters of RGIT Montrose in Altens, Aberdeen. It was crucial that after 26 years at the same location, clients had a seamless transition to the new facility. Similarly, all stakeholders expected to be introduced to the new survival centre and made aware of the major investment that had been made. The launch of the new survival centre was coupled with a major profile raising initiative for the brand name RGIT Montrose (formerly RGIT Limited and Montrose Scotia Training International).

Problem

Solution

Lesley Davidson communicated the opening of the new facility to all its publics, utilising above and below the line communication. Extensive media campaigns and high profile events were targeted strategically at respective stakeholder groups during the launch period. A company Newsletter and Intranet was co-ordinated and implemented and the company's publicity web site was revised.

Outcome

"From day one, the new centre was widely accepted in its new location. The new venue was extensively publicised with no downtime being experienced at the survival centre.
